Alone and Ailing: Mr. Natarajan Battle with Cancer

Mr. Natarajan, a 75-year-old orphan and former lorry driver, faced a grim diagnosis of stage 4 jaw cancer. Homeless and without anyone to turn to, he sought refuge on the streets of Chintradipet. The community, moved by his plight, reached out to our president, pleading for help. In a heartwarming display of compassion, Mr. Venkatesh Ramaraj, Mrs. Usha Shah, and Mr. Lakhu Shah came together to secure Mr. Natarajan a place at the Palliative Care Unit of the Adyar Cancer Institute. Thanks to their efforts, Mr. Natarajan is now receiving the care he so desperately needs, surrounded by the support of Matron Janaki and the dedicated staff of the institute.
